Arnav walked into Shantivan.
Anjali, Shyam and Nani instnatlyrushed towards him…
“Chote!? Oh my God! You’re alright! You’ve been missing for days!”
Arnav didn’t take one look at Anjali…
His murderous gaze rested on Nani, and Shyam…
He had to use every once of strength within him to hold back from attacking them…
“Chote? Did you find Khushi bitiya?”
Hearing Nani mention Khushi’s name made the veins in his neck bulge with hate…
But he knew that he would avenge Khushi, and in the most brutal way…
“I have not found her…Nani…” he ground out her name …
The way he was speaking even shocked Anjali…”Chote,” she walked up beside him, gently laying her hand on his face…”Please, don’t take out your anger on us…I know that something bad is happening, but we can all support you, and be your strength…”
Arnav was filling with murderous intent…”Di…I…I…” he clenched his hands into fists…”I am thankful for you…and for your care towards me and Kh…Khushi…”
Hearing her name spill from his own lips almost send his emotions crumbling, but he bit his agony back…
Anajli could feel it, “Chote, please…take a deep breath…we will find her…we WILL…”
Arnav led his sister into the lounge and seated her down, “I have to speak with Nani and jijaji about things…”
She looked worried, but then started nodding with a smile…”I see, you want to check up on me…since you don’t believe me…”
He forced a smile and said, “Yes…so…just wait here okay?”
Anjali nodded as Arnav walked towards the kitchen…
“In here.” he demanded, and they quickly followed…
“Saale Saab, have you found…”
Arnav spun around and pointed harshly…”Quiet. YOU will not mention her name.”
“Chote, I know you are angry, but we will find her…”
Arnav took a menacing step towards his grandmother, “She is GONE.”
Nani suddenly went pale…”Wh…what?!”
Shyam turned to Nani then back to Arnav, his eyes draining…
Arnav had tears in his eyes as he continued…”I am telling you two so that Di may be spared this information for the remainder of her pregnancy. More than anything, Khushi wanted Di to be happy. And I will honor what my wife wants.”
Nani tried to approach him, her heart truly hurting for her grandson, but he flinched away…
“Don’t touch me!” he snarled…”I am going away for awhile. I will tell Di that it is for business…”
As he spoke, he skillfully looked around the room, noting all the areas that had private survailence camera…
Happy with the amount of security, he finally held eye contact with Nani.
“I am going away. No one will no where. I need time. More time than will ever be possible. But whoever did this…” his words slowed, turned dark and frightening…”I will find them…I WILL…and no one will be safe…no matter who they are…whether it be a child, whether it be Di, whether it be my best friend, or an old woman…I will avenge my wife…I WILL make them pay…and seeing as no price will ever be high enough, they will pay dearly…”
Nani could feel her skin crawling with terror…
Shyam was burning with anger and confusion…
And as Arnav marched past them, he knew that they were terrified.

The plane’s air conditioning was cold, and yet he felt nothing.
The altitude was high, but he felt lower than the dirt.
The only thing keeping him warm was the pulse he felt…
As long as it was beating, he was functioning…
As long as it was beating, he could draw breath…
As long as it was beating, he would live.
His fingers pressed into it, needing to feel the palpitations.
It beat strongly.
It didn’t relent.
Tears rolled down his face as his mind flashed back to the single most horrifying day of his life…..
FLASHBACK
His heart hurt beyond anything he’d ever felt…
He couldn’t let this be the end.
He couldn’t let her die like this.
He bent over her and gently opened her jaw…
Covering her bluish lips with his own, he blew long and hard into her mouth…
Nothing.
Feeling hysterical with panic, he screamed…”WAKE UP!!!!! Khushi! Please! I’m begging you please!!!!!”
Sucking in a deep breath, he slammed his mouth onto hers once more and breathed long and hard into her…
Suddenly, her body convulsed and she let out a harsh gasp…
Joy flooded his entire being as her pulse began to flutter against his fingers…
“YES! That’s it…Khushi…Breathe…I’m here…I’m here…breathe for me…You’re too strong to give up…fight this…fight it!”
She let out a hoarse whimper, but her lungs continued to rise and fall with labored breaths…
Arnav pulled her to sit up as he held her steady with all his strength…
Holding her around her waist, he pulled her head towards his and suctioned his mouth to hers…
He held her nose closed and breathed an intense stream of air into her lungs…
Khushi coughed and spluttered as her eyes began to open…
Instantly she saw Arnav…
His heart wasn’t sure if it should break or rejoice…
She was alive, but completely terrified…
Tears began to pour from her eyes as opened her mouth to speak…
Arnav shook his head…”SHhh…don’t say anything…”
She still tried, but only a croak came out, and she felt desperate to move, to get rid of the feeling of helplessness…
“Be still…” he told her…”Please sweetheart…please…”
But she continued to try and escape…
The police had apprehended the intruders, and now, only Rishab remained…
He had called for paramedics, and they finally burst through the doorway…
Arnav was trying perilously to calm her when a medic knelt down beside him and grabbed Khushi’s arm…
He had no time or energy to be angry at the interruption…
His eyes rose to the man as he begged…”Help…help her please…please…”
The paramedic spoke quietly…”Be assured sir, I am here to help her…”
Another man was now hovering over them, slowly injecting something into Khushi’s veins…
“What is that!? What is it!?” he asked urgently…
“It’s a sedative sir…she’s in shock…”
They placed an oxygen mask on her and were about to lift her when Arnav intervened…
“Please…Please let me lift her…”
He was shaking and close to tears when he lay her on the bed…
“Sir, we will check her over…but please know that she is breathing…”
Arnav staggered backwards and nearly collapsed…
Rishab was by his side, grabbing onto his arm…”Steady on…Arnav? Listen to me…”
“What if…what if she…”
Rishab seized Arnav’s face in his hands…”BUT SHE DIDN’T! SHE’S ALIVE ARNAV!”
Taking a deep breath, Arnav nodded…”Who were they!?”
“They are contractors. Hired to find and eliminate people.”
Arnav had enough.
“Get me a plane. Get us out of here. I don’t CARE who is behind this anymore. I want OUT of here.”
Rishab was shocked…”But you said that she wouldn’t leave her family…”
Arnav stabbed his pointed finger into his friends chest…”I WILL NOT HAVE THIS HAPPEN AGAIN! We can return when this is over! Not WHILE it’s happening!” he paused and looked back over to Khushi…”I’m not losing her…”
His head shot back to Rishab…”I’M NOT LOSING HER DAMN IT!”
END OF FLASHBACK
His hand held tighter to the soft pulse…
Her hand was gently clinging onto his…
His eyes roamed over her…
The bruises on her neck were starting to surface more, and the darker they became, the darker his vengance became…
…………..
Arnav stepped off the plane.
He could smell the sea salt in the air…
And although the breeze was warm, although the sun was hot, his skin still felt chilled…
He was still in denial…
He was still in shock…
Khushi had been sedated right through the flight, and was now sleeping soundly in Arnav’s arms…
Even though the heat of her body warmed his heart, the rest of him was cold.
He had never, ever been through something so heart wrenching…
So terrifying.
His grip on her tightened…
He wasn’t willing to let her out of his reach, and was ready to carry her to the ends of the earth to keep her safe…
“Sir, your cabin is that way, ” the flight attendant pointed…”Right by the beach…”
Arnav looked over towards the row of houses…
It wasn’t a busy area…
There were couples walking along the sand…
There were children playing and laughing…
Everyone seemed so free…
“Sir?” the man cleared his throat…”I can call a sand buggy over if you would like?”
Arnav’s expression was blank as he shook his head…”No…no…I want to carry her…”

So, Mr. Bond back to RM ! After the hotel room incident, he obviously, through Rishab, knew who were responsible !..Nani and Shyam *nindy sharpens nails to kill them* A nightmare for Mr. Bond ! First seeing Khushi's lifeless body and then realising that she wasnt breathing either ?!?! He knew how to, oh ! Well hez Mr. Bond ofcourse he will know all about Mouth To Mouth Respiration ! Well hez done his doctorate in that i guess. What will all the time slamming and claiming Khushi's lips *nindy grins* and only stopping for taking in air, only to start again ! But the Mouth to Mouth did really come of grave help here when Khushi needed it. Shouting in the middle Khushi's name and asking her to breathe and reassuring her that he was there , Mr. Bond went on till a slight sign of life came into Khushi. But he still went on and as a result she started breathing. Her pulse rate increased even though not very significantly. So nice of the Paramedics to tell him that Khushi was in a state of shock but is alive. On asking whether he could carry her, they agreed and he didnt leave her for sometime till she stablized ! With Anger and Remorse Arnav enters RM ! Only not to show it .Anjali is so sweetly concerned about her brother and Khushi ! Well who wouldnt be if a person closest to you is going through hell !?! Nani and Shyam come infront of him showing their concern, which obviously is fake and Arnav knows that. Arnav must have really gathered strength from somewhere so that on seeing Nani and Shyam he wouldnt just explode and in that anger and hatered in haste he wouldnt do anything wrong ! (khushi can take a bow here, as the control he had at that hour he must have learnt a bit from her. Be patient)On enquiring about Khushi he told them…. SHE IS GONE…! Well exactly what he wanted them to think, that Khushi is dead and thats why he has come back to RM. Such a sweet brother ! He didnt want his sister to know about anything, so making her pregnancy an excuse, Arnav made Anjali sit before he went to talk to Nani and Shyam ! This time also he chose his words correctly and indirectly warned them. Obviously he wont shout at them and warn them or get them arrested without full evidence ! Good he said that he wont spare anyone who was behind this whole thing which had happened to khushi *ASR mode on but cautiously* Arnav while talking to Nani and Shyam slyly checked if all the hidden cameras were in place. On being satisfied with the job, Arnav just announced that he would like to take some time off to be alone far away. *knowing grin* he wanted them to believe that he wants to be alone because of Khushi's death *nindy grins*Arnav took Khushi far away from the maddening crowd only so that she gets enough peaceful time to gain her strength back and be fit and fine again. He didnt want her to be alone for a single second also. So he carried her to their hut ! Awwwwww….so sweet..so loving ! Arnav had already made arrangements before going to RM ! MASTERPLAN ! Sarah, should i stalk you or will you update soon ! Whatever just take your time while writting out the parts ! *MUAHS*

She's alive!!! I don't think Shyam or nani actually wanted to hurt khushi to that extent so I hope there's not someone else working against arnav and khushi aswell!! Can't wait for the next update! Sonia x
